I’d like it better if I didn’t have this cough from hell. Yesterday I sounded like a de-barked dog.

Today was another beautiful day – cool and breezy. I decided to take some pictures in the back yard. My dog is such a ham, he always gets excited when I grab the camera. I didn’t get too many good shots, but here’s some that I liked:

W00T! My new Canon PowerShot SD1000 can take much better videos than the old HP PhotoSmart ever thought of taking. I finally managed to get a good video (as opposed to a lame, stupid video) and figured I’d better figure out YouTube

The original is much better, but I suppose that’s the difference between 233 MB and 15 MB.

Snow gallery – more later probably!

Jake loves the snow. I’d really love to see what he’d do in a foot of snow, but that ain’t happening here. It’s still falling, and sticking pretty good, but if we get a whole inch of actual snow, I’d be surprised.

EDIT: Yeah, it’s more rain than snow right now, and what snow there is is slushifying. Yes, that is a word. I swear it is. Anyway, the icicles are melting off the roof. But, my outdoor temp gauge says 31, and it’s still gonna be in the freezing zone. It’s gonna be really slick out there.

I’m so glad that sqlrob can work from home. Forget the actual snow – there’s some serious ice underneath. No one here can handle rain all that well, let alone snow and ice.
