    More John Moore, plz

A Fate Worse Than Dragons In an attempt to win the hand of Princess Gloria in marriage, Sir Terry slays a dragon-only to discover he’s killed the dragon in a neighboring kingdom and inadvertently earned the devotion of the wrong princess. And everyone knows that getting stuck with the wrong girl is truly a fate worse than dragons. This is the forest primeval, where the murmuring pines and hemlocks, bearded with moss, stand like Druids of eld, and the young elms sway like sailors in the eleventh hour of a twelve-hour liberty. This is the forest primeval, where golden eyes…

    Busy month

Originally published at Jen’s Corner. You can comment here or there. June is turning out to be a busy month! I'm still alive

Wow, we’ve just been really busy lately! The new job at one week in is actually pretty dang cool. The brain is actually being used, and it’s even kinda fun. Did I mention it’s not tech support? Monday night we went to a book signing at Bookpeople – Neal Stephenson. He’s such a fascinating person! Next up on my book list, once I get through the current stack, is going to be his Baroque Cycle. This weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is Linucon!! We’ve plotted out the panel/seminar thingies we’re going to, and I really can’t wait. It should be…
